    Beautiful house and gardens, but felt a bit spooky with no one on-site.

    Beautiful house inside and outside. Beautiful gardens in a quiet location. It would be a good location for walking.

    Nobody on-site. All the ground floor sash windows were unlocked in the rooms and in the sitting room. Anybody could have gained entry in the night. Despite the key safe to get in the front door, the Back door was open. Room 6: Shampoo dispenser in the shower did not work. Extractor fan in the en-suite not working. Only one bathroom mirror light was working. Room 5: I was told there were no cups or glasses.
