    Wonderful, luxurious stay

    Beautifully decorated and restored property. Room amenities were very impressive. Nespresso machine, Brew Tea Company selection, Mini Bar with complimentary still and sparkling water, cans of organic red, white and sparkling wine. Room was very spacious and very comfortable bed and sofa. Cyrus and team were brilliant. Breakfast was wonderful.

    Nothing, should’ve stayed longer.

    Lovely little hotel in the heart of Lavenham

    Pricey but beautiful historic accommodation in quaint village

    A beautiful historic building in quaint village. We had a suite which had lounge area and 4 poster bed It was full of old features and the furnishings were lovely. Bath robes provided.

    The breakfast could have been better for the price we were paying for the room. Running on minimal staff

    Food was amazing, I had the breakfast kedgeree.

    Beautiful building and room was very well equipped full of high quality extras.

    As a solo traveller, would have liked a lounge area down stairs that was cosier and more conducive to sitting around in .

    Amazing hotel that complement Lavenham beautifully.

    Location was excellent, Lavenham is a beautiful village well none and never short of visitors, but finding a unique hotel with a fine difference is a difficult, hence finding the Greathouse of Lavenham was a big big bonus.Here is where booking.com is always the best for us because if you don’t get it right the first time browsing the website you can always keep looking and you’ll find a gem, that’s what the The Greathouse of Lavenham is thank you.

    We liked everything from the first person we saw at the reception to every thing else we encountered was beautiful. The hotel hasn’t got a spa but you don’t need extra cost of a spa in the Greathouse of Lavenham when you can have peace and amazing ambiance all in just booking the room.
