  Not one of our best inn experiences

  The inn itself was what we expected, being an antique building with yesterday's charm. Our room was spacious and comfortable and there were two sitting rooms on the first floor plus a large wraparound porch.

  Our room had the unusual setup of having a “private bath” but that was across a common hallway from the bedroom. It was truly private only if we locked the door to it, otherwise anyone could have used it if they chose to. We were staying two nights, Friday and Saturday with a Saturday evening wedding, and when we asked for fresh towels for Sunday morning since we had showered late on Saturday prior to the wedding, we were told they don’t provide them for a two night stay. At more than $250 a night we expected better quality than the thin towels that were provided and assumed fresh ones would be set out. The inn’s young manager did provide them for Sunday but we really shouldn’t have had to ask or have been made to feel like an exception was being made.

  Not a "real" Bed & Breakfast", it was like a sub-par motel . Not the country Inn we were expecting.

  Not much. The bed was comfortable and room nice.

  Not a real "Bed and Breakfast". I usually associate that with a nice breakfast. The breakfast was like you get at a mid-level motel. It was a "buffet" with scrambled eggs, bacon and frozen potatoes warmed up. There was no real "service". There were paper plates and plastic knives & forks. That was very disappointing especially since we spent a fair amount for the place. We had a front bedroom and the street was very busy. Not the quiet country inn we were expecting. Only restaurant close by was a Mexican restaurant and the food was room temperture at best. Overall very disappointing.

  Superbe séjour, au calme. Amabilité et disponibilité de Jarvis, très accueillant. Auberge charmante et confortable, on s'y sent très bien. Grande veranda, comme dans les films ! Chambre "Heidi" un peu petite mais propre et avec une salle de bains soignée. Petit commerce pratique à proximité.

  Rien. Petit souci lié à la réservation sur Booking, mais le personnel s'est adapté et a été très réactif pour le solutionner.
