    Beautiful property and excellent position

    The Grove is a real gem situated within a short walk of the centre and offering parking. We received a warm welcome, the property was beautifully decorated, very clean and the food excellent.

    Our room seemed to be smaller than others with limited space to unpack clothes etc but for one night was adequate.

    We had a wonderful stay.

    The owners were extremely kind and provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent and tailored to our needs. Rooms were well furnished and comfortable.

    No comments. Our expectations were exceeded.

    The Grove is perfectly situated next to Pannet Park, easy access to the station.

    Clean, comfortable beds, breakfast was good the scrambled eggs were delicious.

    A lot of steps. Some outside were of uneven height. But not too much to stress over.

    Joanna, the landlady of the hotel, was so warm and welcoming. We had a laugh with her and we felt you could tell her anything. She's the type that would do anything to make your stay even better. The breakfast was superb, tea was Yorkshire so guaranteed to be great! My husband had the coffee and he said it was good and strong.

    The room was quite small, but it was adequate for us as we were only staying for 1 night. It still had a king-size bed though!
