    We liked our quiet downstairs room in the courtyard. In summer it might have been noisy as the guest patio for the pub was right outside.

    No menu for breakfast which was very odd as you had to guess what might be provided and when we asked for fruit or yoghurt there was none on the first morning, however, they did provide it on the second day. The evening meals had a menu and were ok.

    Welcoming stay in a nice room

    Staff and manager very welcoming. Room tasteful decoration. Breakfast very nice. Location was handy for our needs

    It was a little noisy due to being downstairs above very late to bed and early risers. We would have preferred an upstairs room. The stairs creak a lot, as do the upstairs floorboards, appreciating it is a lovely older building. Although we would have preferred a quieter room, it wasn't a deal breaker, we would very much like to stay there again, perhaps ask if there was an upstairs room. The cost was a little more than we usually pay for the room rate.
