All round great value comfortable, great restaurant lovely village and great for dogs

Lovely and the most comfortable bed every and the food is sensational
Welcome arrival was lovely and very warm and friendly. Dinner was so delicious. Food was so good. The room was lovely and the bed was one of the most comfortable and beds we have slept in away from home. Loved the thick fluffy towels. The shower wash was absolutely amazing, it had a divine smell and loved it! Enjoyed having Yorkshire tea bags for our morning tea.
The shower water was a bit hit and miss, presumably when other people were showering, the water disappeared and then came back on. There was no sugar in the room and would have been better not having to go fetch the milk as meant getting dressed and undressed to do so but no big deal. It was very noisy which we appreciate is just a pub but you could hear everyone else walking about in their rooms. Appreciate it's an old place so not a big deal and much you can do about that :)
