A return visit (working in the area) , and have already booked a few future dates.
Clean and tidy room, an excellent cooked breakfast, and generous portions in the restaurant for evening meals. Typical country pub bars, with good selection.
Decor is a little dated, but room was still very clean and tidy. Staircase to guest bedrooms is quite steep, not a problem for me, but might be a concern for anyone with mobility issues.

A nice well-run Pub/hotel .
Comfortable room, good food, nice Bar with good beer and friendly locals. Lovely part of the country.
A few odd sound-effects at night (from the plumbing I think ?), but not really a problem☺️

Adequate overall.
The bed was comfortable, breakfast was good.
The evening meal was poor...vegetable lasagne is best avoided!
