The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to anywhere in the old town. The room is spacious with huge double bed and everything you need. The staffs were all kind and really helpful. They provide delicious breakfast, with two choices: Amarican Type and Sri Lanka Type.

Beautiful historic hotel with great food. Good location
Beautiful historic hotel Nice large bed. Great location. 11/10 for the food served in the restaurant
Only complaint, when we arrived in the afternoon they had rented the restaurant space opposite the rooms for a noisy party with mobile loudspeakers. So noisy the glass above the room door vibrated with the noise. Outside you couldn't hear yourself speak. Said it was finishing at 4pm which it did but bizarre thing to allow at such a volume inside a small historic luxury hotel. Beautiful hotel and restaurant once calm restored. Sure it was a one off and if we had booked in the previous day we would of been out during the day and missed it. Would stay again

The location is excellent, right inside Galle Fort, making it very convenient for exploring the historic area on foot. The room features a charming European classical style, and our suite was particularly spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service throughout our stay was attentive and well organized. The price is somewhat on the higher side, but considering that prices in Galle are generally relatively high, we felt it was still reasonable for the overall experience.

Beautiful Heritage Charm Inside the Historic Fort
The Heritage Hotel Galle Fort offers an ideal setting for exploring Galle. Situated right inside the historic fort ramparts, it places you steps away from vibrant cafes, boutique shops, and scenic walking routes across the area. Although newly constructed, the architecture and interiors masterfully preserve an authentic vintage aesthetic, blending historic character with modern comfort. Our room featured a wonderful private balcony, which was a lovely spot to unwind. Breakfast each morning was hearty and sumptuous, offering a great start to the day. The only hiccup during our stay was the elevator, which had technical issues and resulted in getting stuck once on the way up. Aside from that maintenance quirk, it is a charming and well-located base.
