Disappointing.
Food & spa
Mattress in the room was absolutely terrible and very uncomfortable, needs replacing! Also fire alarm went off twice throughout the night in which we had to evacuate the hotel. There was no apology about this on checkout and not even a mention of it from hotel staff the following morning. Quite disappointed with this stay

Enjoyed stay leisure facilities were good . Walking track a pleasant surprise .
The breakfast was very nice . Dining room was comfortable staff were pleasant . Stayed early in week . Would stay again and would recommend .
A bit hit and miss with attentiveness of staff but over all staff were pleasant . Not great value for money in bar seven evening meal . Starters and deserts outrageously expensive. 9 euro for 3 tiny scoops of ice cream . Sticky toffee pudding was nice but 12 euro is ridiculous . Second evening we were seated near an exit door at the back of barc7 ordinarily would not be a problem but staff kept going in and out the door and letting it swing back creating a draught . It was very cold . If people are sitting there that should not happen or else don't put a table there.

Breakfast standards were really poor from the kitchen. Coffee is an issue really needs to be addressed, or was the same
Young staff in bar and at breakfast are lovely and so helpful! Reception staff are also lovely. Hotel itself is really nice and rooms are comfortable
Breakfast is not fresh, and cooked breakfast standards along with coffee are not up to standard for a 4 star hotel. Coffee is undrinkable. The €25 fee on top of an overpriced stay is not good to use the spa. The standard pool facility is not good enough
