    Opal Gem waiting for us.

    This is a gem in the Opal fields. Just on the outskirts of town boundary in an opal area. It was a delightful cottage, private, quiet and relaxing. Offers facilities to make staying self catering although we ate out as that was the reason for a break to get away from cooking. Great area for a drink on the deck - under shade and cover from rain - if needed. Our host was on hand all the time and answered all our questions and if she didn't know the answer pointed us in the right direction. We'd stay there again for sure. We only had 2 night next time I'd stay a bit longer. Thanks so much. :))

    We enjoyed the serenity of the location and the friendliness of our host.

    Quiet location. All facilities worked well. Parking was easy. Landlord very obliging - even did a load of washing for me! Lit a fire for us to sit around. Gave us good advice on which attractions to visit.
