Exceptional value
What I liked most was owner Chris's clarity about what he was offering. He offers clean, comfortable and well equipped accommodation at a very reasonable cost. All that with a smile and excellent breakfasts. He's not competing with the Ritz but he knows exactly what he is doing and does it exceptionally well. For me that's worth 5* any day The Fox just down the road is worth a mention. Great food and service when we visited.

Surprised at the high reviews for accomodation. Owner was however brilliant (except for responding)

Complete failure of property to respond to queries when phoned or messaged Left dog toy behind and have no way of getting back as no response to email request Room very outdated and bathroom pretty horrible with black mould in the shower and very noisy plumbing

The host Chris was welcoming and helpful. Very good value for money with a generous breakfast Pub with great food just down the road Very quiet night
The property was as described. An older building with older facilities, but it had everything you needed and is good value for money
