Great inn with lovely rooms and excellent food!
Just stayed one night on the way to Edinburgh and it was great! Our room (in the old school house behind the pub) was small but had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We had dinner in the pub and the food was fantastic (and great "desert cocktail" too!) Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Excellent stop off!

This was an excellent place to stay. Small rooms and the mattress need replacing. But great service and fantastic food.

Pleasant old style Inn with accommodation in separate building. The bedroom had very comfortable bed with fluffy pillows. The bathroom was a bit cramped and had a very noisy extractor fan. There was no provision to dry towels as radiator was off, I guess during summer months and a lamp was not working over the shower. We stayed two nights and enjoyed both evening meals which were very good. The noisy fan was mentioned to the staff.

We wanted to stay in an old fashioned inn and this is a good find. We stopped by here for a night after a long drive from London.
