  Hotel sur une rue bruyante, isolation inexistante..aussi bien au niveau des fenêtres et entre les chambres. On entendait les voisins d'a côté. J'ai peu dormi à cause des bruits des restos et bars nocturnes. Dans la description cela devrait être noté. Honnêtement c'est un hotel 1 étoile pas plus

  A stimulating Istanbul experience in a compact, well run hotel right in the heart of the city

  I stayed in a room on the sixth floor but the lift was like the Istanbul transit system; rapid. The stairs were quick and easy to access too. The hotel is located within the beating heart one of Istanbuls three main tourist centres, all of which throng with the constant hum of people walking, eating, talking and singing. It doesn't keep you awake at night, it gently rocks you to sleep. This hotel is designed to make you feel part of that culture with an open front/reception which just works brilliantly. It doesn't just allow you to seamlessly hop inside and outside, it also transports the best of the cities atmosphere into the walls of the building which, in turn, sings in perfect harmony with the city outside. Arriving into the grandiose of Istanbul for the first time, it was easy to miss how compact this hotel was with just two rooms on each floor either side of the lift shaft and stairwell. The room itself was of a moderate size, tiled, with a very good shower, a decent TV, fridge, aircon, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. It was clean and comfortable and the beds were made daily. It didn't have a balcony but there was a door to some kind of small roof terrace opposite my room for the smokers. The staff were very attentive and helpful and requests were dealt with promptly. Breakfast was served in a small lounge behind the reception - it was a basic self service but ample and included hot and cold options, sweet and savoury, plus fruit and cereal as well as traditional Turkish food. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Shishane metro station but be advised that these metro stations are deep and complex with multiple exits that will put you in entirely different parts of the locale and, in the case of Shishane, at a significantly different elevation!

  Great accomodation in an excellent location

  It was my second stay at the hotel and they gave me a free upgrade to a deluxe double. Staff were so helpful and kind. Had a great stay.

  I'd like to express my gratitude to the hotel staff. They're such hard workers – they spend all day cleaning and washing. It's so nice to come back to clean room. The hotel staff are very polite – it's always a pleasure to ask them for any request. Thanks to: Navruz, Husamitbey. Everyone was always helpful and very friendly.

  Very Enjoyable stay

  Absolutely fabulous hotel, The staff were all so helpful and friendly, It was a very clean and comfortable stay, The room I has was very comfy, There was bottled water supplied every day and had good tea and coffee making facilities. I was on the 5th Floor opposite the lounge room which unfortunately was being used by some very loud guests which made sleeping a little difficult, The location was excellent and would highly recommend staying here

  It was lovely just wouldn't want to be on the 5th Floor again
