Great location for running the annual races, beautiful city, very good and helpful hotel staff.
The location was perfect. Breakfast was excellent, but on day 1 our waiter said we must order our 2 courses which both arrived together, so had to eat hot food (scrambled eggs) before muesli and yoghurt for 5 days. Much later we heard others ordered one course at a time, so the hotel should be informed it's usual to eat cold food before hot!
We were a group of 15 staying at the hotel and, to keep finances separate, we booked rooms individually through Booking.com, so the hotel wasn't aware we were a group. We and other friends booked Deluxe Double Rooms (201 and 301) which were very cramped for space - particularly for 5 nights. The large bed was great, but gave no space between desk and bed (we're all runners and thin!). 1 drawer in the wardrobe isn't enough. Friends in Rooms 202 and 302 had a huge amount of space! Hotel atmosphere is great, but no proper lounge area meant 15 guests didn't drink at the bar.
