    Pretty awful.

    What we did like about the appartment was overridden by the noise from the renovation.

    While the actual property met our expectations, however one thing completely ruined our stay. The flat directly above ours was being renovated and the wooden floors were being sanded by what was clearly an industrial sander the noise of it went on and on with two a loud thumps every 30 seconds or so when, I assume, the machine was repositioned. The apartment is within the price range we would normally pay for this type of property, but in that price bracket, what we experienced fell short of what we expect,.While the owner, (contacted through Whatsapp), was sympathetic, and said she would contact the person doing the work, she failed on two occasions to follow this up with telling us what the outcome was. I appreciate that the work was beyound the owners control, but the lack of updating us was not acceptable, and because of this we were left with the impression that they did not really care as long as they got their money.

    A luxury find in the heart of Buxton -gorgeous apartment would totally recommend!!

    Great character , superb decor and comfort -beautifully situated and so handy for the town centre too

    Suited our purposes, hosts very friendly and responsive.

    Short walk to Buxton Opera House. Free parking a bonus

    Bathroom rather narrow but shower very good.
