    Idyllic, quiet and friendly stay overlooking the most iconic maritime canal with views of the Atlantic.

    We LOVED the area! And the view from our balcony was AMAZING! We enjoyed watching the fishing boats on the canal below. We ate at Boondocks right on the water just a couple steps away. Angel beach was a quick drive and so perfect to walk on. The quiet sound of fog horns echoing filled the morning light. The sunset over the canal was breathtaking. It was quiet and the host couple was friendly and easy to communicate with. The breakfast was fantastic. We were so glad we hadn’t booked in Halifax and chose the quiet fishing village instead.

    We asked for a cot - it was horrible (springs poked me all night and mattress was so thin it was cold under me all night long. They brought a different cot for the second night and it was MUCH better. The first one needs to be thrown away and never used for a guest again!

    Perfect choice close to Halifax but feels like you are not

    Could have been a fun stay in summer

    The room itself and the building was lovely. The breakfast was great, they cooked pancakes and scrambled eggs for us. Parking was easy. It was basically on Fisherman's Cove.

    We were surprised to find the location on a major road and not all tucked away like it looked in the ad. We came on Canada's Thanksgiving holiday and all the shops and food places within walking distance, other than fast food, were closed in Fisherman's Cove, so the value of staying here wasn't as great. It would have been fun if things were open.

    A clean place to stay at Fisherman’s Cove. If you’re a light sleeper affected by traffic noise, you will need to use the

    Really nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Yummy eggs in the morning.

    From a safety point of view, it was uncomfortable to see the emergency exits blocked by cots. Being on the road side was very loud all night.
