I expected more for what I paid, but I wasn’t unhappy.
I loved the decor of the room and grounds. The Inn was a short walk to the main area where events are hosted. The staff were very helpful and professional. There was a desk and an area in the bathroom to get ready at which was awesome. The TV had a feature so that phones could cast to them which helped set the vibe for getting ready too. The curtains on the window had 2 layers, a blackout blind and a light filtering blind. It really blocked all the light out from the window.
The room was not very comfy and only had one hook which was in the bathroom. It made it harder to get outfits ready for any big event. For as much as I paid for the room, the bed was not very plush or luxurious. I also think the soundproofing must’ve been skimped on because I heard the people above me, the people who walked by the window outside, and the people in the hall. It’s not easy for me to fall asleep and there was only so much I could do to help that. Also the sheets on the bed were all flat sheets, so the layer between the mattress and us would move around a lot. Also the duvet was also surrounded by flat sheets and not a proper duvet cover.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The grounds around the golf course were very lovely. Enjoyed waking around the path.
The Internet and cable were both spotty. The first night the cable was not working but the Internet /streaming services were. Second night the cable was working and the streaming services were not. I couldn't even reach the front desk because the phones weren't working. Also, I had to have someone fix the toilet paper holder that was broken in the bathroom and there weren't any towel holders near the sink to dry your hands. The hallways did not smell clean but the hotel room were ok. I expected more from a resort. Also, they tried adding almost $100 in fees onto my bill because they said it wasn't included in a third party booking. I spoke to the manager and she reduced it to $20. That was not a good start to the stay.
