  Disappointing experience

  I appreciated the coffee and pastries offered in the morning, as well as the friendly and helpful woman at the front desk. The housekeeping woman was also very polite and helpful.

  WiFi at the hotel was terrible. While I understand that it’s “free”, if you’re going to include this as a “perk” of staying at the hotel, it should be working decently. Upon entering the room we were overwhelmed by the smell of bleach. We had to open windows and keep the door open for 15 minutes to clear the air. While I appreciate the effort to clean the room thoroughly, it was an overpowering smell and frustrating to deal with. The sink fixture was broken and kept falling off every time we tried to use it. When I approached the front desk to let them know, the representative was unfriendly and unhelpful. She didn’t greet me, even though she clearly saw me standing there and she basically stared at me blankly after I told her about the sink. She did confirm that she understood and when I mentioned I didn’t want to be charged for any damage, she told me she’d tell the staff. No offer to fix it, no apology for the inconvenience, she didn’t even get up out of her chair to speak to me. The worst experience we had was the bad service at the restaurant on site. Server was totally inattentive and unhelpful to say the least. I still gave her a generous tip because the busser was helping out so much. I stayed here once before and it had been a nice experience but won’t be back. I don’t feel like spending money at a place that can’t provide its guests with some of the most basic hospitality services.
