Beautiful place. To be recommended. Hotel guests welcoming needs improvement.

The room and the bathroom are spacious, beautifully decorated to the latest details. Very quiet. Nice snug area with a massive bay window opening onto a balcony and the view onto the field is fantastic. You wake up with the sound of the pheasants all on the fields. The food is very good and excellent breakfast.

The welcoming was poor. No one acknowledged me when I arrived. The manager, Stephane, was talking to a customer and then decided to ignore me and walked away instead of enquiring the reason of my waiting. Finally, a girl stopped and I could tell her that I was there for the check-in. I understand that there were busy from the restaurant and their local customers but they should know that around 3 o'clock, they will need a member of state dedicated to the check-ins. As it was a special birthday for my partner, I enquired for their best table but we were tucked in a little area on a very small table. It is only because I insisted that we managed to have a better and bigger table. However, from there, the service was very good.

The quality of the food is to a very high standard. The room is tastefully finished with a good selection of complimentary tea and coffee.

I cannot think of anything negative to say about my stay.
