    Breakfast and dining room

    Windows in room need to be changed and needs more electrical outlets ( not extension cords). We had problems with the lighting and ceiling fan.

    Breakfast every morning was delightful with freshly made goods everyday. The last day of our stay food supplies had run short due to an unexpected number of guests but most mornings there was plenty.

    Mattresses too soft/saggy for our preference.

    If you have a choice between the Jelly Bean Inn and the Rose inn, I would choose the Rose.

    I notified the chef and he said he didn’t do gluten free. Specifically in our email it said gluten free was an option. We had to walk to a sister hotel in the rain for a delicious breakfast made by Norm a very pleasant and accommodating chef

    I don’t recall being told our room was on the 3rd floor. We had to borrow a chair from the hall on another floor and a small table from the hall beside the bed. They only offered paper cups for water, wine etc. The shower head leaked and I had to let staff know to fix it. Overall, it could have been better

    Loved our stay…will definitely keep this in mind for our next trip to Newfoundland.

    Loved our stay at the Roses Heritage Inn. The location was perfect; close to Signal Hill, Quidi Vidi and downtown. Parking across the street worked really well. Breakfast was amazing!

    The bed was really high. I needed to use the ottoman to get on the bed.
