  Mooi uitzicht op restaurant.

  Locatie is erg afgelegen. Je rijd min 30 min om ergens heen te gaan. Mooi maar erg saai. We konden niet zwemmen omdat het toch wel zichtbaar was bij de andere villas terwijl we privacy hebben geboekt.

  A lovely relaxed retreat

  My stay at Kayana was really exceptional - the hospitality was really excellent from the staff and I felt completely welcome and relaxed there. From the moment of arrival, I was greeted with a delicious welcome tea, informed of what to expect and taken by golf cart to my villa. It is incredibly spacious and well-maintained. The mini bar has water and soft drinks, included in your stay, and there was fruit and fresh cookies waiting for me. I loved the large tub in the bathroom, the private pool and the small but serene beach (it was never crowded during my stay, always plenty of chairs). The restaurant and spa are indeed up quite a lot of stairs; I just chalked it up to daily exercise. For those with mobility challenges or simply don't want to walk up them, you can request a golf cart to take you. The food was really good - there was hardly a dish where I wasn't fully impressed and they'll bring the food to the villa at no extra charge on request. You can have your breakfast at any time from 7am which was perfect for me as I prefer to sleep in a bit. The restaurant has great views, particularly at sunset and the spa services were very good. I felt no need to leave the property but they do offer a shuttle into Senggigi that you can use once during your stay to get into town a bit. A note that yes, there is a mosque very nearby and you will hear the call to prayer. I found you get used to it; also the early morning call was not disruptive for me, my villa was tucked in a bit closer to the beach area. I would pay attention though to holidays as the calls my a run longer and more frequently during those times.

  Small things but I really hated the pillows - overly soft to the point of being useless! The bathroom could use a bit more privacy, there is a screen but at night with the lights on, you can see a bit more than I liked. It would be nice if beach towels were just provided in the room or near the beach for easy access instead of needing to request them.

  Decent stay just needs some maintenance & some changes

  Big pool & nice snorkeling on the beach

  The cleanliness and overall maintenance of the rooms were disappointing. The rooms were not properly cleaned when we checked in, and the gaps beneath the doors made it easy for bugs to enter. We also had an ant problem on the tables, which was unpleasant. The shower design was particularly concerning. It has an open roof, leaving guests exposed to potential filming drones flying overhead, with no alternative option for a fully enclosed shower. This raises serious privacy concerns and is simply unacceptable for accommodation that is supposed to offer guests comfort and privacy. Overall, these issues significantly affected our experience and fell short of our expectations.

  Perfect for quiet relaxation… would recommend!

  The beautiful secluded location and the thoughtful design of the villas - biggest most comfortable bed. The staff are so beautiful, helpful and friendly. Breakfasts delicious and you can snorkel with turtles just off the beach. Also 15 minute boat ride to Gili islands a massive plus.

  The prayers are very loud and can be heard clearly in the villa… got used to it though.
