Das Zimmer war klein, aber alles nötige war vorhanden.
Etwas nah an der Bahnlinie, zum Glück war es nachts ruhig. Etwas kühl im Zimmer.

was okay for money - it was convenient for our needs

The building is a bit tired. In need of a deep clean. The room was small but adequate. The ensuite shower room was spotless (clearly a new edition) the bedroom had numerous cobwebs and needed a thorough clean. Bed sheets were immaculate though.

A little research would have revealed that the building backed onto the railway the late running trains were, initially, worrisome but okay after a while
