    Fantastic short break. Wish we could have stayed longer

    We stayed here as 6 adults and loved everything about it. We wished we could have stayed longer The cottage has everything you need and provides private outdoor space too

    We loved the location. The host was great, very helpful. Beautiful well equipped cottage and spotless. Loved the huge bath towels! Will definitely book again

    Wonderful property, fantastic wildlife!

    The owner met us when we arrived and handed over the keys and give us a tour of the area and the rooms. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and recommended lots of good places to go and visit. The accommodation was exceptional. 3 nice bedrooms (2 ensuite) and one bathroom just down the hall, it was exactly what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need and all the appliances worked well. The area around the property was a wildlife watchers dream really. Lots of bird activity including active tawny and barn owls, loads of bats in the evening, and hedgehogs. Some really good walks straight from the property and lots of places to visit within 30 - 40 minutes drive from the property. The beds were comfy and the place at night was quiet. No road sound at all as you were well away from the main road. The Running Fox cafe nearby was a great place for breakfast too! All in all this was a place I would recommend to anyone and we are certainly going to go again next year as we have so much more to see!
