    Poor

    Location was great for what we needed. The staff were excellent at trying to help us so thank you the them.

    We were surprised at how cold the room was and requested a further free standing heater. We were told that the heating was an issue and was being looked at. It would have been good to know this before arrival so we would have the choice to cancel and move to a different hotel. We found that the rooms and floor areas were were tired and dirty and could do with improvement. Bedding needs attention, one duvet seemed old and could do with changing. (not dirty, just tired). The breakfast room was also so cold. When we arrived, there were two doors open and the chef looked at us as though we were aliens. The food was adequate and as we would have expected. Why would you have two doors open bringing in the first cold day of the year when you're expecting guests!! Overall a poor experience for us.

    Room was spacious and modern. Breakfast was delicious.

    The temperature control on the shower was broken, therefore the water came out boiling hot making it unsafe to shower in.

    Sadly, I won’t be returning

    Close to main route of travel

    The room smelt of the food cooking/grease via the fans that create the most loud noise causing me to shut the windows. The room is very warm and no fan to be used. Room is surface clean and felt grubby. I moved a bedside table to be faced with Dangerous Dave the rooms resident spider and the creator of the webs within the room. Dirty mark underneath the soap dispenser, a lamp by the tv which had been plugged in and switched on at the socket but NO lightbulb 🤪 other areas are tired and need significant updating and repairs to bring up to the specification required for the price charged.
