It’s not a hotel it’s a very expensive slum..
Nothing
Unfriendly reception, small dreadful room, very small uncomfortable bed, too small shower, had to buy shampoo and cream as the dispenser were broken, terrible lighting…was upset and felt cheated by the overpriced room, awful place

Great location and nice hotel would come again when improvements have been made
The hotel was in a great location and easy to find, the room was comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly
When we stayed the hotel was undergoing improvements so there were a few obstacles to avoid with our luggage. Breakfast staff were intent on upselling to the full breakfast as it gives you a choice of breakfast but we are light eaters and preferred to choose from the menu. Which wasn't well recieved.

Disappointing overall due to the room cleanliness.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, decent location
Our bedroom required a better cleaning. It was quite dark. There was dust on the walls, the net curtains (for privacy as our room was on ground floor next to beer garden) were dirty, the regular curtains also dirty, both need replacing. The shower curtain should also be replaced if it can't be better cleaned.

Charming and practical stay
Despite the work renovation which was communicated before hand, the room was quiet and clean. Location is perfect

Enjoyable and l will stay here again when l am back in Durham.
Don't eat breakfast so can't comment on that but while the room was small, it was cosy and comfortable. I will book again though next time l'm in County Durham.
