Fantastic location
Brilliant location! Right in the heart of a great district for food and drink. Gion was walking distance. Having the 24 hour reception was great, particularly as some lost luggage was sent to us there. Lots of bathroom amenities. Air con & fan still operated when not in the room, keeping it cool and managing steam after showers.
There were quite a few black hairs in the room on arrival, which were either from the previous guests or the cleaning staff (we’re both fair haired).

Everything! Great little hotel, was very comfortable, staff was very kind and attentive, room was spacious compared to others in Japan, location was fantastic and beds were comfy.
Elevator is slow to arrive. But very insignificant detail. Otherwise great!
