    Great views and facilities, but disappointed with service and room condition.

    The hotel is located right next to the lake, offering a fantastic close-up view of the fireworks (if the event is not canceled). The view from the room is absolutely beautiful. Both breakfast and dinner offer a great variety of food, and the quality is quite good. The panoramic onsen on the 9th floor is spectacular, and the outdoor bath is also very well designed.

    We didn't receive a welcome drink, we waited to the counter to check in, but no one noticed whereas all other guests received a glass each. Individual guests seem to be treated as second priority to tour groups, even though we arrived before the official 3:00 PM check-in time, all dinner slots between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM were already fully booked, leaving us with very limited choices. The room felt quite run-down; 3 light bulbs were not working, the bathroom had a musty smell, sofa was quite dirty, and the outdoor balcony was lots of stains. The last one, be aware that the hotel has 2 zones. If you stay in the "Spa Resort" wing/zone, you are not allowed to use the Club Hall facilities unless you pay an extra charge.

    Unforgettable Lakeside Stay with Infinity Pool Onsen and Gastronomically Delightful Buffets

    Amazing view, amazing rooftop infinity-pool onsen, amazing dinner and breakfast buffets with lots of Hokkaido produce and options. The staff was very helpful and kind.

    Parking was a bit of a hassle but understandable. I was given a print-out map to navigate my car to the off-site parking, a suggestion would be to provide a Google Maps link to that location as that would be easier to follow rather than the print-out. Having to queue for a breakfast table to be available wasn't ideal but it was acceptable. The pricing was a bit on the high side so I almost did not book this accommodation.
