    The area of Devon is very nice

    The cleanliness. The place looked like it hasn't had any work for a long time. There is a leak in the kitchen door, so if it rains you'll have water there. The skylight in the damp bathroom also leaks, meaning this area is never dry. The 'lake' appears to be a pond with some sort of oil floating on top.

    More than a 10/10 stay!

    Richard was a really lovely host, and the Lakehouse was exactly as described! Olive oil was even provided for cooking, which was a really nice touch. Perfect place for a private and peaceful getaway, whilst still being close enough to everything that there's loads to do.

    Only wish we could have stayed longer!

    A unique and very special place

    A perfect spot to enjoy a heatwave and laze away the day next to the beautiful lake, enjoying the occasional trip on the water in the rowing boat . Absolutely loved the location ,privacy and facilities including the pizza oven and hot tub. Richard was a friendly and helpful host . Would thoroughly recommend for a unique experience
