Be cautious of hotel staff mean behaviour
Food was great but expensive. Location being nearby to main group of temples is a plus.
I had a very bad experience with their staff who wasted almost 6 hours over payment issue. Mr. Praveen from Lalit's team charged my credit card for another booking and their whole team including Mr. Amit Dubey, Mr. Ayush and Mr. Nitin kept poking me every time I step out of hotel or come to room asking that they didn't receive payment while my card was charged much before I reached. The tone with which Mr. Amit approached wasn't expected at least from a property like Lalit. When he realised his staff was at fault for incorrectly charging card, he left for home without informing. Since I had to leave early morning, I spent time from 5 pm till 11 pm to sort out payment including calling my bank CC team, Booking.com support and they kept pushing me to find fault on my end. They even asked me to share photocopy of my credit card which doesn't sound legal. I would really appreciate if booking.com can pitch in for such behaviour from Lalit hotel as I went with very high expectations considering reviews. When I asked to connect me to their senior, Mr. Amit mentioned he is out of town. When I spoke to Mr. Rajesh Paliwal (GM), he also wasn't convincing enough on the nuisance staff created. He mentioned that he would apologise over email which I am yet to receive. I have all the proofs of whose payment they deducted including video of their staff member Mr. Praveen and Mr. Amit acknowledging the issue. On another note, I had requested for a car parking and when I reached, their driver had a futile effort to ask other car drivers (who weren't even staying at hotel) to move. Really bad experience of all the properties I have been to and felt helpless and cheated as a customer.

Comfortabel verblijf

The hotel was central to everything that was happening in Khajoraho. The staff were especially friendly and helpful and nothing was too hard a request. The layout of the hotel was easy to navigate.I would recommend highly the Lalit Temple View to anyone wishing for a hotel in Khajoraho.☺️

Comfortable stay at a great location
Dining at Panna restaurant stood out for its good food and service. The rooms were good too. The temple complex entry gate is a 20-minute walk from the hotel, while the exit gate is a 10-minute walk away. This was very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The term “Temple View” is slightly misleading, as the ground-floor rooms do not offer any view, while we were told the second-floor rooms did, and one can see a temple shikaras from the swimming pool area.
