Lovely overnight stop
Lovely little place, it was perfect for our overnight stop. The food in the pub was very good too, highly recommended.
I wouldn’t say there was anything we didn’t like, it’s a nice pub hotel. It’s not the ritz but it’s not trying to be.

Wonderful Inn with Rooms experience.
We wanted a pub with rooms experience and the Lamb delivered perfectly. Such a warm welcome, for us and especially our dog. The pub was full of character, beautifully historic and lively with locals. Great beer choices, featuring local brews. Ideal menu for us, great range of pies and real traditional British pub fare. Our food was prepared with care and genuine thought and flavour. We loved our room with a view of the town 'square', so many thoughtful touches in the room, they made the stay feel really personal. We slept so well on a super bed. Feel like we have discovered a gem and hope to return.
Stay another night! Plenty to see and do in Sandford and Crediton.

On a Monday they close the kitchen earlier and they rang me up to see if I wanted dinner when I arrived. I knew what I wanted and they had it ready for when I arrived. Had a good conversation with the landlord, who has an amazing story to tell. Was in a different room to last week and had a view over the village square. Good powerful shower and comfy bed!
There was noise around 4am when someone was loading their van! Possibly the linen delivery....
