    The Lamu Suite was quiet and beautifully appointed (rustic African swish). The hosts were delightful.

    Great base to catch the train into the city. The rooms were very comfortable and clean with everything you need in a home from home. Zeke recommended a local Italian restaurant, which was an easy stroll away where the food and service were excellent

    Welcoming and quirky gem

    Nicely decorated and loved the owner’s quirky sense of humour in the welcome folder. Close to the river and to the venue where we were attending a wedding which made for a pleasant walk. Despite its proximity to the railway line there really wasn’t much noise.

    The only negative, and it’s a really minor thing, was there was no milk provided to make a cup of coffee.
