Great house. Disappointed by service. Quite a few things not working.

The house itself is really great. Spacious and warm and the spa is an excellent additional comfort. The house was also relatively well stocked. The board games were wonderful.

The cook top is faulty and may be a safety issue. When turned on at the wall, the front right element goes on and off intermittently without the knob facing on. This made cooking a bit too exciting, but it probably needs a service. Despite multiple people trying to get the drying room heater to work, following the instructions provided, we could not get it to go. The same with the TV - couldn’t watch the All Blacks test due to not being able to get the TV going despite following instructions. No hair dryer could be found in any of the bathrooms. At least 3 light bulbs needed replacing - 2 in kids room and one in drying room. A thorough vacuum needed especially in bunk room. Rat poison pellets spread across the carpet beside one of the beds. We really liked the house but whoever is servicing it needs to do a thorough check through the house. Because it’s not cheap, we would’ve expected everything to be working properly and cleaner.

    Great.would comeback

Great setup, loved the hot tub.

Small issue with one of the bedrooms where 2 kids were bitten by something and covered in bites.

We had an joyful family reunion in a very charming and comfy house

Beautiful house, wide passage, gorgeous bedrooms, exceptional living area, so tastefully and comfortably furnished. The long oak dining table was brilliant for our family reunion.

There was too much stuff in the kitchen cupboards, lots we didn’t need and some key items missing, eg four frying pans and 2 woks, but no large saucepan and no sieve. The washing machine was very complicated to use. Previous guests left grocery items in the cupboards so there wasn’t room for the things we brought. Please clear out those cupboards and do an inventory. Cutlery and crockery were good
