    Gut erreichbar vom Fährhafen

    Die Matratze ist sehr weich und das Haus liegt an einer stark befahrenen Strasse und es ist sehr laut.

    Last minute enforced change

    We needed accommodation so that we could get the ferry to Jersey early the following morning and the place we booked a year ago, with which we had corresponded several times including the day before our visit, phoned on the morning as we were travelling down to say that we couldn't stay because someone else was there and they were double booked. They suggested this place instead and as we had little opportunity to make different arrangements we came here. The accommodation was fine and the host was helpful so we made it work.

    We didn't sleep very well, even with only one of the two pillows because they were too big and hard, so very unlike at home. Obviously we weren't at all happy to have had to change accommodation at the last minute at over double the price but at least we had a bed for the night.

    The room was excellent, very clean and great facilities for the price. Christine sorted out parking for us.
