    A peaceful lakeside gem we love returning to!

    A third fantastic stay at this comfortable cottage in the most peaceful setting! Owner Sanne is exceptionally kind and hospitable as always , welcoming guests with lovely treats (her cakes are sublime!), and going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. A high-quality fan kept the place refreshingly cool during the heatwave, and the surrounding grounds with private lake access remain the highlight of the property for us.

    We greatly enjoyed our short break at The Lodge

    We were made very welcome and appreciated Sanne's attention to detail. There is access to a secluded, enclosed patio area plus the freedom to explore the enormous grounds; very peaceful location apart from occasionally vocal cockerels.

    Though a good fan was provided within the property, in hot weather, an air conditioning unit would have enhanced our experience

    Lovely and relaxing place to stay!

    We stayed here as it was close to the local event we were going to, it was a lovely and clean space with everything we needed. Sanne was incredible, welcomed us at the home and showed us around and even bought us a slice of cake they had made! They had left out some fruit, strawberries and prosecco as a welcome gift as well. Plenty to do around the home and in the local area. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a quiet place to stay and relax!

    It was perfect for a break. Host very welcoming, accommodation very comfortable, setting stunning. Recommend with out reservation. We particularly enjoyed the walks in the surrounding area and using the tennis court. Recommend without reservation.
