    Disappointing & Not clean

    The location was good.

    We stayed in two rooms (stables and courtyard) over three nights as on the last night the guests next to us were incredibly loud. The lack of sound proofing is a real problem. When we complained about the noise we were told there were no other rooms available, however this seemed to magically change when my other half went to reception in person to complain. The rooms are definitely not being cleaned, dust and cobwebs everywhere. Marks on the linens and very questionable stains on the decorative pillows. Broken kettle that had stagnant water left in it, bedside lamps that didn’t work… All such a shame because the location really is good and the building itself is lovely. So much potential but a clear lack of pride and effort.

    Dissappointing

    Shower room much too small. Basin was not suitable to wash and shave. Creaky floorboards and other guest noise annoying. Breakfast too limited. Certainly not value for money

    Hotel overpriced and disappointing

    NO cooked breakfast despite being advertised and included at time of booking. Continental selection very average.
