    Lovely clean quiet spacious getaway

    The lodge is spacious & the photos do not do it justice. It is very clean throughout with thought put into the amenities available. Pat & Sue were intentional & responsive to be sure I had the required information before I stayed. Sue was there to welcome & show me around when I arrived, and ensure I enjoyed privacy throughout my stay. The hosts are friendlier than the general information might suggest. I only chose the place as I had an event to go to nearby but am now interested in the area and genuinely hope to come again, the property is nice enough to be a holiday / getaway location of itself. The town centre also has a Waitrose which is a lovely option for the cooking facilities.

    Beautiful lodge in a lovely quiet setting. Spotlessly clean and well equipped and loads of space both inside and out. The owners are on site and are very friendly and helpful. Very easy and secure parking. We were staying for a family wedding and the lodge was a perfect place to relax between all the activity. Some family members visited for lunch during our stay and were very jealous.

    We visited during the heatwave, a second fan for the other bedroom may have been nice but that is the only comment. Everything was fabulous.

    Great facilities with a well set out cottage/Lodge. For our friends wedding it was the ideal location with plenty of room to get ready and relax before and after the event.

    The beds could be a little larger in the bed rooms as they would fit. With the warmer hotter English Summers some air conditioning would not go astray though you can see it would be very cosy in the winter.
