  Last minute booking which did not disappoint and great quality and value

  Everything was well considered, comfortable and as advertised. A really beautifully presented accommodation. The host Simon was extremely welcoming and friendly. Excellent selection of tea and fresh coffee machine. Well equipped kitchen area. Fridge an absolute bonus! Bed super comfortable, loved the pillows (I am super fussy so they must be good!). The towels were luxurious. Spotlessly clean. Excellent location. Have already recommended to friends.

  Some small elements which the hosts may wish to consider, Bathroom: a small bin, some more shelving/storage for easy access to toiletries in bathroom, shelving in shower for gel/shampoo, over door hooks in bathroom for towels/nightwear. Living space: hanging rail not adequate again some over door hooks may be better option, small glass bottle of fresh milk in fridge rather than UHT pods more sustainable possibly cheaper? Would have preferred a headboard on bed but that may be personal preference, extension socket for use whilst sat in seating area as sockets somewhat awkward to access.

  Enjoyable and convenient. A lovely place to relax and sleep after very busy days out.

  The Lodge was lovely and quiet, and very private. The host introduced himself when he handed us the keys, and let us know that he was available at any time, and then left us alone, which was very nice if you like your privacy. The Lodge was very clean and well set out. The kitchenette was well stocked with all the utensils and appliances you need. The shower was instantly hot and with good pressure. Would definitely book again if staying in the area.

  As we were attending a 2-day wedding, we primarily just needed a place to sleep and get changed. Unfortunately there were no hooks to hang our clothes and suit storage bags. The nearest ones were at the bottom of the stairs. A minor moan was there was no lighting by the entrance to the flat, when returning at night. There are lights there, but they were not working.
