The Hotel was good for a short stay, but the lack of a breakfast took the shine off it.
I shared a double room with my sister, on a 4 night stay. The beds were comfortable, sheets clean and room clean. The room was tidied every day. The staff were very helpful, when needed. The location was roughly a 20minute walk to the Subway, but we only used it on one occasion to cross over into Manhatten. The hotel was walking distance to Van Brunt Street, which had a number of bars, resteraunts and a couple of cafes.
No buffet breakfast, which was advertised when i booked the Hotel. Instead a breakfast in a bag. Fresh fruit, a process cheese and ham sandwich, granola, yoghurt and a pastry item. However, on one day, no fruit; and there didn't seem to be anywhere, reasonably local, where you could sit down and have a breakfast. Maybe i wasn't looking hard enough?. Also, the Rooms could do with more clothes hanging space. There was plenty of wall space in the room i had (103), so even a number of clothes hooks would have improved matters.
