A very cold New Year and birthday celebration
Well equipped and good decor it was nice to have a christmas tree with lights for our new year stay. the very ample hamper was a nice welcome surprise. The location is with easy walking distance of the town and its attractions and is on a quiet street. The bed as fairly comfortable but very small, make it a kingsize and it would be amazing.
When we arrived the apartment was freezing cold!! We had to contact Yorkstays for help with understanding the thermostat. A very helpful gentleman in the office quickly solved the problem and suggested that turn the temp up high to get us started. Unfortunatley every time we returned to the apartment the thermostat was low and it was freezing cold again. Also no underfloor heat in bathroom or towel rail as sugested.

Le scale. Il Loft era all'ultimo piano e per arrivarci si dovevano salire tre piani di scale ripide. Altra cosa negativa il riscaldamento, troppo calda la camera da letto e praticamente freddo il bagno ed il resto del Loft.

Excellent location and facilities
Very clean and the facilities were good, lovely hamper on arrival. It was also really quiet. Good views from the windows and it was really nice hearing the chimes from the Minster. Excellent location, so close to everything.
There was nothing I didn't like. Had a very enjoyable stay.
