    Comfortable, convenient and good price

    Great location halfway between the lake and village. Easy parking… only 2 spaces at venue but large car park opposite. Pay during day but free overnight. We parked 50 yards away from property on the road in the ‘disc zone’. Clear instructions from property on how to park for free from 5pm until 11 in the morning… which probably works for most guests, certainly did for us. The property has been substantially renovated to restore what was a run down restaurant that then stood empty for a number of years. Good quality materials, extremely comfy bed and some quirky features and lighting but overall good value for money. My only gripe is I banged my head a couple of times on a beam next to the toilet… we were in a lift room with limited headroom… I guess I’d learn I’d learn eventually but, maybe a softer edge to the beams would be useful. I’m still sceptical about key safes and codes for self check in… wrong generation… but it all worked fine. Good location, good room and good price. Finally… my wife contrived to leave her phone charger in the room. I received a text about 20 minutes after our departure and before we’d left town meaning we could swing by and collect the thing. Wouldn’t have been the end of the world if we’d needed to buy another one for £20 or so… but that sort of service makes a difference and was much appreciated.

    Cosy and convenient spot

    The floor board are thin so you can hear guests upstairs walk in the middle of the night. But wasn’t a big issue

    The bed is too big for the room, unable to fully open bathroom door or pull out the chair from under the desk. Otherwise all was good.
