Next time I’d pay a bit more and stay somewhere which doesn’t need a refurbishment

The check-in reception staff are efficient.

Firstly - who designs a bedroom without a ceiling light in the middle of the room? It was so dark and gloomy- one ceiling light in room doorway and then that was it other than two table lamps. Room 44 needs a plumber- the toilet was filling with water constantly all visit which did my head in and was very annoying.

    Basic, overnight accommodation, good price.

Location, price, food in the pub was good, staff were friendly and helpful. We only stayed overnight as a pit stop, so it served its purpose well. Comfortable bed.

Extract fan in bathroom did not work, could not close the bathroom door due to wood swelling, the room door security chain was defective, paint flaking off batroom ceiling, room door jammed so had to give it a shove to open, door lock was a bit dodgy and awkward to open. The room needs some basic maintenance.

I so enjoy me stay each time i go like great staff and great pub its like home from home .all my family are down south and we make the most on every stay .kind regards Amanda jean Richards well recommended .also may i add uber taxis are there in mins .bus stops are near to hotel just put your hand out .sending love and respect to all staff .aldi is across road if needed and train station is not far too . Now am going to say this for any one who is on medication like my self no one is allowed in the room i make that clear they can go in when i leave . And thats worth meantioning.cds and more meds need to be covered at all times even on the trains .i so worry about them getting into wrong hands .im disabled and cover all needs .so have a great jpurney and stay safe all.
