    Lovely stay with great food

    Lovely food, room very nice modern and tastefully decorated. The establishment cat called 'cat' was very friendly and the lovely 'holly' the dog for us being animal people was fabulous.

    Nothing could hear a bit of traffic but that is to be expected as on a road so not even a dislike

    Wonderful stay. Beautiful pub. Fantastic staff

    The staff were fantastic, food absolutely lovely

    No sky in the actual pub. But that really is a minor issue

    Very enjoyable

    Location and friendliness and the fact the landlord arranged an early breakfast for us , which he didn’t have to do

    Would have given a 10 but there was no hot water. Also that google maps didn’t five the correct distance from Cromwell lakes as it was “ as the crow flys” not that it said you needed to go around the river trent
