Luxury seaside retreat
The location of the hotel is great for exploring Tankerton Beach. The room is comfortable although a bit small for 3 of us. I think this is more a couple retreat type hotel. The coffee, tea and biscuits provided in the room is very nice. Breakfast is great with a buffet spread plus dishes from the menu. The hotel has a popular restaurant but we didn't have the chance to try. The hotel has free parking but the space is limited, parking on the street in front of the hotel is free.
When we booked, I chose a specific configuration of the family rooms which suited us better (it seemed possible at the booking.com site). When I checked in I was given a different one. Upon query I was told that they were unable to guarantee the room type and they have brought this up with booking.com but was unable to change the options offered. So just know that when booking.

Very enjoyable stay, good service, good food and menu and a good location
Very good menu with good well presented food. Good and happy service from staff member's. Good restaurant arrangement and design. Good idea having a thermos flask for milk for tea making in the room.
Decoration of room a little tired, chipped and scratched paintwork and the furniture. Shaving mirror in the bathroom partially removed and not replaced. Shower mat discoloured/aged. More towel hanging elements in bathroom would be helpful.
