Fantastic!
The Mayton is absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful, beautiful, and incredibly well done. The property itself is gorgeous, with so much charm and character, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel really sets it apart. The atmosphere manages to feel upscale and luxurious while still being warm and inviting. Our room was beautiful, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every detail made the stay feel special. The staff was also wonderful—friendly, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing a great experience. The location in downtown Cary is fantastic and makes it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. There are only two very small areas of opportunity. On-property parking is not available, so guests have to park across the street. It wasn’t a major inconvenience, but dedicated hotel parking would make an already seamless experience even better. I would also LOVE to see full-length mirrors added to the guest rooms. When you’re getting dressed for dinner, an event, or a night out, having a full-body mirror would be incredibly helpful. Those details are minor compared to how wonderful the overall experience was. The Mayton truly feels like a hidden gem and easily one of the most charming boutique hotel experiences in the area. Everything was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully executed. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Good location but customer service needs work.
Good location and cute INN. The price was reasonable. However the ac did not work well in our room and it was hot. We told the front desk and nothing was done to compensate us. We were told the manager would give us a call.

A Wonderful Place to Stay
The Mayton is a beautiful hotel. Great location. Wonderful and friendly staff. The restaurant, "Peck and Plume", is excellent. I highly recommend.
