The Miller of Mansfield is a beautiful old hotel situated in the heart of Goring. Unfortunately our room was at the front of the hotel on the road so it was extremely noisy with traffic, early morning rubbish trucks and church bells ringing every hour (not that this is the properties fault). Our room was comfortable and clean but we did not have a very comfy bed, it was low to the ground and quite a saggy mattress. Breakfast was just passable. This property is expensive for the value you receive. The cleaners were amazing and did a fantastic job each day. Our stay was okay just not great.

Friendly staff on arrival, sadly lacking from man serving at breakfast. Room good but be warned, open bathroom, could see the loo from the bed. Kettle in the room.

I love the feel of the Miller of Mansfield! It’s like going back in time. Staff was wonderful. I was happy with my choice for a two night stay!

Great location. If you are unsteady on stairs, this might not be the hotel for you. Friendly staff. Great full English breakfast. GVFM.
