    Property looks lovely but definitely has some issues

    The property is decorated beautifully and the double beds were very comfortable. Beach is lovely. Spacious house.

    The plumbing was a big issue, the shower drain was blocked on arrival, the ubend pipe came off when we tried to use the washing machine and flooded the downstairs floor and no mop to be found in the property and the spa bath wasn't working properly. The upstairs bath was also dirty on arrival and needed to be cleaned before we used it to bath our son. No stair gates on when we arrived despite the hosts being aware we were travelling with two children under 5years old and a dog. The stairs are very steep and only have rope bannisters, one of the rungs were broken on this too so it was quite dangerous. The property says dog friendly but be aware that on arrival there is a 4page instruction manual for the property which states dogs are only allowed on the ground floor and nowhere else in the property! The host was quite rude when we contacted them on departure day to inform them of the issues we had, basically accused us of lying about this all because they had refused us a late checkout which we had only requested because we were travelling with young children and 10am is quite early for an apartment checkout, it was inconvenient but not a big deal for us, the other issues were issues in spite of this. We had contacted the factor about the plumbing issues the day before we left also. Disappointed to have received such an unfriendly response. Also the pubs are all closed down so can't go for a drink or anything nearby. There's one restaurant which is only open Thursday - Sunday.
