An unforgettable stay – the best hospitality in Sri Lanka! ❤️🇱🇰 We had an absolutely perfect stay at Moose Weligama! It was the cleanest accommodation we have stayed in throughout our travels in Sri Lanka, and everything was spotless. The pool was beautifully maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. The location is fantastic, just a couple of minutes from the beach and less than a 10-minute walk to the town, with easy access to surfing spots, spas and beach clubs. However, what truly made this place unforgettable was Ashan. He is genuinely one of the kindest, most caring and thoughtful people we have ever met. He couldn’t do enough for us, going above and beyond in every possible way. He cleaned our tuk-tuk, helped us arrange tuk-tuk taxis, washed our clothes so they came back smelling absolutely amazing, and wouldn’t even let us carry our own bags! Every little thing was done with such warmth and a genuine desire to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We loved sitting and talking with Ashan, listening to stories about his incredible life, his 21 years in the Navy and his beautiful family. It was such a pleasure getting to know him, and you can see what a wonderful person he is through the way he treats everyone around him. His smile, happiness and hospitality are something truly special, and his family must be so proud of him. We feel incredibly lucky to have met Ashan, and he made our stay so much more than just somewhere to sleep. The accommodation itself was fantastic, but Ashan is the reason we will never forget Moose Weligama. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you’re visiting Weligama, stay here! You will have a lovely, clean and comfortable place to stay, but more importantly, you’ll meet a truly beautiful human being. Thank you for everything, Ashan. You are the boss man and, without a doubt, one of the best people we have met in Sri Lanka!

We had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. A special thanks to Ashan, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. When one of us was not feeling well, he took especially good care of us and supported us with freshly prepared tea every day. We truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture and his kindness. The location is also very convenient – only about a 20-minute walk from the city center or just a 4-minute tuk-tuk ride away. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend this place to others.
