What I loved about this house was that it was wooden and had that lovely village feel. It felt warm and cosy, with plenty of space to sit and relax inside. And Joyce was so lovely — she even arranged a gazebo for us in case of rain on our wedding day. ❤️

    Peaceful lovely safe comfortable stay.

Lovely space for three couples and a couple of dogs with a lovely safe garden

Just a little issue with water pressure when more than two things being used/flushed at once! Ok with a little planing and probably nothing that can be done about it anyway!

Cosy and charming house, fantastic stay!

Lovely stay in a cosy little house in beautiful Scottish countryside. There were 3 bedrooms (1 double, 2 twin rooms) plus a sofa bed. 2 rooms had an en suite, plus a separate bathroom downstairs. Plenty of toiletries and towels were available. There was a nice living space with a TV, fireplace and books. The decor was lovely and cosy. The modern kitchen was well-equipped with induction hob, cooking equipment and utensils, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and a large dining table. Washing machine, microwave and cleaning equipment all available. There was even a high chair, travel cot and stair gates (which could be removed). Lots of parking, with a swing and picnic bench outside. The heating and hot water worked well. Beautiful views of the countryside outside and we had a very quiet night's sleep. Arrival was easy, key was in a lock box. Joyce was fantastic - she gave very clear instructions to find the house and had very helpful coffee and milk available, plus a lovely box of biscuits. Would thoroughly recommend staying here. Thank you for a really lovely stay!

Location was slightly further away from Edinburgh, Glasgow etc. but the drive wasn't too bad and it was beautiful staying in the countryside, plus very quiet for a good night's sleep!

Just what we needed for 6 friends attending "Blazin' In Biggar" fiddle weekend.

Great location, very private, roomy, had everything we needed.

The three shower/bathrooms all had extractor fans but one didn't work and the others needed a bit of working out how to turn them on and off. Joyce said she'll deal with this and thanked me for reporting. It wasn't a big problem because it was summer and we could open windows. The TV is streaming only, with a good choice of streaming services, but the selection of remote controls on offer was confusing and could do with some written instructions. Again, Joyce said she would take this on board, and it wasn't a problem as I watched on my tablet instead. The WiFi is good.

    Large wooden house

Lovely house just a 5 min drive to the town centre. Very spacious. Lovely big garden. Plenty seating inside. Array off books and swings in the garden.
