Give it a miss
The room was clean
NO contact with host on arrival. The key to our room was given to our travel companions who arrived 10 minutes before us. We had to access our room through theirs (or navigate a route through the multi-level back yard). On return at 10pm after a wedding, there was NO exterior lighting at the property. The driveway was very steep & narrow, & curved. It made entry up dark stone steps onto the verandah unsafe. Our rooms were so overheated, they were very uncomfortable. No controls in our rooms to be able to adjust it. The tea & coffee making facilities were available, but only one cup, & no milk.

Bed and NO breakfast - A very disappointing experience.
I arrived with my toddler on Friday to the property being in darkness with a note as to where my room was. We tried the pool, which my daughter was excited about using for the weekend, and it was locked and unclean. I later asked the owner about this and they said it was accessible by a pool gate, but the gate had a key lock and was locked, and had clearly not been cleaned in a while. The room itself was clean, but the 'deluxe pool and mountain view' was a tiny grated window above the toilet. I asked the owner about this and they said it was because they'd given the room to another guest - no compensation given. I asked about breakfast (as clearly photographed on the website) and was told 'there was too much waste, so they don't do it anymore'. Then, the owner left for the weekend (at approximately 8am on the Saturday morning) meaning the supposed communal lounge and dining area were locked up for the entiretyof the stay. I've since spent over two hours contacting the property and Booking.com with the property refusing any compensation. I specifically booked here because I'm heavily pregnant and was travelling solo with my daughter, so I planned to A) have breakfast on-site and B) have downtime throughout the day and relax by the pool. Instead, we had to be out and spending $$ from 7am-7pm, as it was that option, or sitting in bed. I contacted the property twice before arrival asking to pre-book breakfast and was ignored. Communication is totally missing. What a shame.
