I loved the location, the cottage was fantastic, and the local people were friendly and welcoming. Yes, local amenities are nil apart from the pub, but plenty of walks, scenery, with plenty of villages a short drive away. After a day of adventures, an evening meal at the pub and a restful evening is lovely. Can't wait tp rebook.

Lovely characteristic cottage, spacious, clean, a home from home. Peaceful and idyllic perfect for couples, just maybe not with teenage kids ha

A bit out in the sticks with scary narrow lanes (my own fault for not checking these things b4 booking tho)

The cottage was very picturesque and had most things that were advertised as being there.

A man came to the door and spoke in a confrontational manner about where my car was parked without asking or waiting for an explanation (it was parked there temporarily to make room for someone with a disability aid in the car behind us). The man did not introduce himself or identify his connection with the property, if any. As a woman on my own with two teenage girls, I found this extremely unsettling and no longer felt safe and comfortable in the property, which unfortunately soured the whole experience and led to my keeping the curtains drawn for the remainder of the booking.

A welcome break in a pretty village

Lovely village location. Lovely accommodation. Naturally cool in the heatwave was very welcome. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. Comfortable bed. All on the ground floor. Great local pub a short walk away, serving good food.

The walk in shower was good but getting the right temperature was inconsistent at times. Smart TV was not great, could do with updating. Netflix did not work for us, despite having address code as Netflix kept asking to sign in by other means. Location was spoilt by roadworks during our stay and most destinations were quite a long drive away. Many flies around but fly spray was provided.
